FLOYD MAYWEATHER VS. LOGAN PAUL: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul will take center stage this weekend! The intense face-off begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and pits superstars from two different worlds in a must-see showdown for sports and entertainment fans around the globe.
Mayweather is the best-selling and most polarizing boxer of this generation. He has 50 professional victories and an undefeated record. “It’s going to be fun. It’s what I do. There’s a difference between being a YouTube fighter and an elite fighter. I’m a fighter and I don’t worry about anything. I’ve been a professional for 25 years and I’ve fought the best and seen every style and I always came out on top,” he said with confidence.
Let’s be honest, a 44-year-old retired boxing legend vs. a 26-year-old social media sensation sounds a little crazy. But the two are a clash of prominent personalities with extreme differences in both boxing experience and size. Mayweather and the Paul brothers are excellent at entertaining.
However, Logan Paul fought once as an amateur and as a professional. Paul has also been intensely training for the past eight months. He stands six inches taller with a four-inch reach advantage over Mayweather. Paul stated on Thursday, “I didn’t choose boxing, boxing chose me. I got challenged to box, and I answered that challenge.” He continued, “I’m going to fight my heart out. That’s the beautiful thing about this sport. In almost any other business, experience is going to trump everything else. But this is a fight, and anything can happen.”
The Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul exhibition special will take place on Sunday, June 6 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. One thing for sure and two things for certain, it’s going to be a night full of entertainment. Tickets for the live event are available for purchase at ticketmaster.com.
