SWIZZ BEATS AND TIMBALAND’S VERZUZ REMATCH: BEST MOMENTS
Swizz Beatz and Timbaland made history with the first-ever Verzuz rematch. The dynamic duo went head-to-head live from Miami on Sunday. From the R&B vibes to paying homage to the artists we’ve lost, the co-founders of the revolutionary digital platform gave us a grand three-hour show.ย
DaBaby, Nas, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, and many more showed up live to watch the two rap icons spin their records. Missy Elliott paid her respects to Swizz and Timbaland on video. “First I want to say congratulations to you (Timbaland) and Swizz. And, thank y’all for creating Verzuz for us to relive some of the best moments in music,” she said.ย
For the last year, Verzuz entertained the hip-hip community from the comfort of our homes, giving us notorious performances from many hip-hop icons. The legendary producers celebrated building the platform from the ground up, including selling Verzuz to Triller last year. Swizz gifted his Verzuz co-founder, Timbaland, with a custom airbrushed jacket. The jacket had portraits of his collaborators Aaliyah and Missy Elliott.
