Paul Wilson Launches Bid for Miami Gardens City Council District 2

Education consultant and community leader Paul Wilson announced his candidacy for Miami Gardens City Council, District 2, with the election set for August 2026.

Wilson, who consults with school systems and state agencies nationwide, is known for his work supporting curriculum design, professional learning, and equity initiatives aimed at strengthening schools and expanding opportunities for students and families. “These efforts continue to strengthen schools and expand opportunities for students and families,” Wilson said.

In Miami Gardens, Wilson leads Move The Crowd Miami, a media-based venture that partners with the NAACP Youth Council and the Evolutionary Arts Life Foundation to promote social engagement and arts initiatives locally. He also mentors youth through the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project and is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

“This campaign is an extension of everything I’ve stood for: Service. Integrity. Accountability. And progress that’s built to last,” Wilson said.

With his background in education and long-standing community involvement, Wilson aims to champion policies that foster inclusive growth and opportunity in District 2.
