NORTH MIAMI BEACH CRA WILL HOST ‘NMB BITES’ TO CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH

North Miami Beach, FL (February 1, 2022) – The City of North Miami Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (NMBCRA) will host NMB Bites on Saturday, February 5, 2022, to honor and celebrate Black History Month. The event will take place at the Senator Gwen Margolis Amphitheater located at 16501 Northeast 16th Street in North Miami Beach from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

NMB Bites is a signature event series designed to highlight North Miami Beach’s (NMB) culturally diverse cuisine and community. The NMB CRA has partnered with local restaurants to offer guests a memorable culinary experience as they indulge in complimentary food tastings and unique dishes found within the Black community of North Miami Beach.

Throughout the evening, guest will also enjoy a special live performance by “Earth, Wind and Fire” tribute band, Let’s Groove Tonight.

 Vegetarian Restaurant by Hakim (vegetarian)

 Kingston Delight (Jamaican)

 Chic Poulet (Haitian)

 Family Cuisine (Haitian)

 Fat Boyz Wings (comfort)

 House of Mac (comfort)

 Vybe 305 (comfort)

 

“Food is an expression of cultural identity and it plays an important part of cultural heritage,” said NMB CRA Director, Joann Milord. “This event series is a great way to celebrate, promote, and maintain the diverse culture and community that exists in North Miami Beach.”

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required for attendees to obtain tickets for free food samples.
