RIHANNA SALES OUT PERFUME LINE AND NAMED BILLIONAIRE

Last week, Rihanna had added another reason to ‘Pour It Up’ after he first perfume line Fenty Eau de Parfum, sold out within a few hours just days after being named a billionaire.

According to a press release, the new Fenty product is “spicy and sweet all at once.” It features magnolia, musk, tangerine, blueberry, Bulgarian rose absolute, geranium and patchouli.

RiRi took to Instagram to celebrate writing,“How I woke up after #FENTYPARFUM sold out this morning.” She took a shot of herself laid up eating caviar in a comfy black hoodie and matching shades.

Last week, RiRi was officially named a billionaire and the world’s richest female musician. According to Forbes, an estimated $1.4 billion of Rihanna’s new net worth comes from her lucrative Fenty Beauty line. The singer launched her Fenty beauty brand in 2017. The brand saw succuss in the first year with sales of $550m. The rest of it comes from her Savage x Fenty brand that’s reportedly worth over $270 million.

Her stake in the company, combined with a 30% stake in the lingerie line Savage X Fenty and money generated during her 16-year career as a recording artist, take Rihanna’s fortune to $1.7bn, according to Forbes. That makes her the second wealthiest female entertainer on the planet after Oprah Winfrey, who is sitting on a fortune estimated at $2.7bn.

Rihanna is not the first celebrity to make a fortune from cosmetics. Kylie Jenner, the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner American reality-TV family, became the world’s youngest billionaire in 2019 at the age of 21 thanks to the success of Kylie Cosmetics, the makeup company she runs largely from her iPhone.
