HOTTEST MUSIC NOT TO MISS DURING BLACK MUSIC MONTH
We come together for Black Music Month to celebrate the history of Black artistry. Weโre keeping Black Music Month rolling with Anthony Hamilton and gospel singer JorโDan Armstrong.
Anthony Hamilton released his new track โYou Made A Fool Of Me,โ co-produced by Jermaine Dupri and Manuel Seal. Hamilton showcased his smooth vocal blend of soul music, singing โGirl, you know I loved you/You could never do no wrong/And you know I adored you/But you chose to break my heart.โ
โThe story is about trust being broken, a heart being deceived, the final straw of being made to feel foolish, and having enough of it,โ explained Hamilton. Nevertheless, he applauded Dupri for keeping โthe integrity of true R&B musicโ intact. โHe never tries to make me anything other than me. Iโm Southern, churchy, and like to sing my ass off.โ
Anthony Hamilton and Jermaine Dupri have a collaborative album in the works set to release this August. It will be a full-circle moment for the two, given that Dupri signed Hamilton to his So So Def label in 2003.
In addition, Baton Rouge native JorโDan Armstrong recently released his single โMy God.โ The gospel singer is an inspirational urban artist who is known for his up-tempo Hip-Hop tracks. Armstrong is an outstanding vocalist and percussionist who has been performing since the age of five.
โI came up with a song that brags on how good God is to me, that glorifies God,โ He said about the track. โIt came from Social Media. Social Media is about showing off what you have, what you look likeโฆI do it too. So I came up with a song that brags onโฆGod.โ
โMy Godโ and โYou Made A Fool Of Meโ are now available on all streaming platforms.
