4TH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS IN SOUTH FLORIDA
While the number of vaccinated people across the country continues to rise and COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, there are plenty of events happening across South Florida.
Events such as America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park will not participate in this year’s fun. However, there are still plenty of smaller events that will take place.
We’ve compiled a list of great firework shows, parades, and festivals happening in and around Miami so let the fun begin!
1. Drive-In 4th of July Celebration
The annual event is taking COVID-19 precautions and hosting the celebration drive-in style. The celebration will take place at Homestead-Miami Speedway and gates open at 7 pm. The firework show will begin promptly at 9 pm.
2. Independence Day Celebration
The talent lineup for this event is jammed-packed with Latin Grammy-award winners Gente De Zona. In addition, Amaury Gutierrez, and DJ Yus, DJ Nancy Starr, DJ A10, and DJ Saroza will be playing hits behind the booth. Local food trucks will fill Hialeah Park from 4–11 pm. The event will end with a 30-minute firework and laser display.
3. Fourth of July at Fairchild Gardens
The family festivities begin at 10 am and take place at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Fairchild’s Celebration parade will march through lush tropical botanic gardens at 11 am. More activities include face painting, a popsicle party, live music, and yummy BBQ. This event requires a ticket that includes access to the entire garden.
4. Fire on the fourth
North Beach Bandshell will host performances by Emily Taylor Kaufman, Bootleg, Sing with Sylvie, Amazing Animals, Bye Bye Plastic Foundation, and more! There will also be DJs and demonstrations from the Roller Skate Vibes community. The event starts at noon and fireworks begin at 9 pm located at North Beach Bandshell, Miami Beach.
5. Miami Springs
This year’s firework show will take place at the country club and begin at 8 pm. This year’s show is guaranteed to be extravagant due to not having a show last year. According to their website, they still have fireworks from last year, so it’s bound to be quite the show!
