MIAMI DADE COLLEGE KICK-START SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM NOW INCLUDES THE CHEF APPRENTICE COLLEGE CREDT CERTIFICATE
The Miami Dade College Kick-Start scholarship program now includes the Chef Apprentice College Credit Certificate. Everyone who is awarded this scholarship will receive free tuition, money for books, and a living stipend in the amount of $100 per credit hour. The only cost for the student is the $30 application fee. Complete details can be found in the FAQ’s at https://www.mdc.edu/kickstart/
There are spots available in the Chef Apprentice program this summer and fall. There are four classes in total:
Summer: 6.21.2021 to 7.30.2021
- FSS 1200 Terminology and Procedures
- FSS 1202L Food Production
Fall: 8.23.2021 to 10.15.2021
- FSS 1204L Food Production II
- FSS 2248C Garde Manger
Interested applicants can go to https://www.mdc.edu/kickstart/ and click on “Apply Now” located to the right of the Chef’s Apprentice section. They will fill in the required information, and in the final question “Select your College Credit Certificate” choose Chef’s Apprentice from the dropdown list.
