Orange Blossom Classic Week Returns with a Full Lineup of Career, Culture, Parties and Football
The countdown to the 2026 Orange Blossom Classic is officially on, and this year’s lineup is giving South Florida an entire week of reasons to celebrate.
From career opportunities and signature parties to youth programming, FanFest, HBCU football and a 4,000-person day party inside Hard Rock Stadium, Orange Blossom Classic week will bring together culture, community, entertainment and the unmistakable energy of HBCU tradition from September 1 through September 6.
The public schedule begins Tuesday, September 1, with the OBC Career Recruitment Fair, hosted by CareerSource South Florida and TeamWork Online with Overtown. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex, 3000 NW 199th Street in Miami Gardens.
For job seekers, students and professionals, the career fair brings an important economic and professional-development component to a week best known for football, fellowship and entertainment.
Friday Kicks Off the Weekend
By Friday, September 4, the energy shifts into full OBC weekend mode.
The day begins with the GMCVB Commissioner’s Welcome Reception & Kickoff Luncheon presented by FPL at Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail in Miami. The ticketed event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the Orange Carpet beginning at 10:45 a.m.
Later that evening, denim takes over Wynwood for the 6th Annual Denim Party.
The official OBC weekend event will be held at La Tropical, 42 NE 25 Street in Wynwood, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.Whether dressed up, distressed or designer, denim is the assignment as Classic weekend nightlife officially gets underway.
Saturday: Cheer, Dance and an All-White Night
Saturday begins with a celebration of the next generation.
The OBC Cheer and Dance Clinic will take place Saturday, September 5, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Betty T. Ferguson Center, 3000 NW 199th Street in Miami Gardens.
That night, OBC weekend heads north to Hollywood for the HBCU All White Affair at Hard Rock Casino, 1 Lucky Street, Hollywood.
From 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., guests are invited to put on their best all-white looks for one of the weekend’s signature nightlife experiences.
And then comes Sunday.
Game Day Takes Over Miami Gardens
On Sunday, September 6, Orange Blossom Classic festivities begin early and continue throughout the day at Hard Rock Stadium.
The Tobacco Free Florida Gameday FanFest presented by Baptist Health starts at 11 a.m. at the stadium’s South Side Fountain Plaza. FanFest is free with a game ticket and gives fans a chance to enjoy the music, vendors, activations and atmosphere surrounding the Classic before kickoff.
At 3 p.m., it is time for the centerpiece of the weekend: the Denny’s Orange Blossom Classic presented by Able Business Services at Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive in Miami Gardens.
But this year, halftime opens the door to an entirely different experience.

From the FAMU Halftime Show to a 4,000-Person Day Party
Imagine watching the excitement of the FAMU halftime show and then walking directly into a Fly & Sexy Day Party — without ever leaving Hard Rock Stadium.
Beginning at halftime and continuing through the end of the fourth quarter, the In-Stadium Day Party will bring as many as 4,000 people into the air-conditioned Club Level Suite Ballroom for food, drinks and music from favorite DJs.
It is part football game, part day party and all OBC.
Fans can experience the bands, traditions and excitement of the Classic and then step into an indoor party atmosphere just moments away from the action.
General admission is $25, with VIP sections available for $175.
