As one of the nation’s most celebrated music festivals prepares to return to South Florida, The Culture News is positioning itself as the definitive destination for everything happening at Jazz in the Gardens (JITG) Music Fest 2026.
The two-day cultural phenomenon returns this weekend, March 7–8, 2026, at Hard Rock Stadium, marking its 19th year as one of the country’s premier celebrations of Black music and culture. Hosted by the City of Miami Gardens and produced by the Black Promoters Collective, the festival has been recognized among the nation’s top music experiences by major outlets including Newsweek and Miami New Times.
From breaking announcements and fashion to stage times and behind-the-scenes coverage, The Culture News will be on the ground delivering the moments that define the weekend.
A Weekend of Icons, Legends, and Rising Stars
The 2026 lineup brings together multiple generations of artists who have shaped the sound of R&B, hip-hop, gospel, and soul.
Saturday night will culminate with a headline performance by Jhené Aiko, known for her ethereal sound and introspective lyrics.
Sunday night closes with a milestone performance from Ludacris, who will deliver a special 25th anniversary set celebrating a career that helped define early-2000s hip-hop. Known for his electrifying shows and surprise collaborations, the ATL superstar brings the energy to Miami for a once-in-a-lifetime performance.
Another highlight will be the dynamic pairing of Nelly and Ashanti, two defining artists of the early 2000s whose catalog of hits helped shape an entire generation of hip-hop and R&B fans.
The festival will also feature a powerful lineup of legendary and contemporary acts including The Isley Brothers, Stephanie Mills, and El DeBarge.
Additional performances will come from GloRilla, Ella Mai, Mýa, Joe, Pastor Mike Jr., King George, Tonio Armani, Boney James, and Damien Escobar.
Fans will also enjoy D-Nice & Friends, featuring appearances by SWV, Robin Thicke, Case, Sunshine Anderson, and Kenny Burns.

Previous festival generated viral moments across social media, with Councilwoman Katrina Wilson iconic on stage performance with Fantasia as well as an electrifying appearance by Doechii during Lauryn Hill’s set—proof that JITG continues to blend legacy performers with the next generation of stars.
