Delta Cluster Convenes Florida and Bahamas Members for Leadership, Sisterhood, and Service

Members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. from across Florida and the Bahamas gathered February 27–March 1, 2026, for the Florida and Bahamas Cluster of the Southern Region, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport & Convention Center. The annual cluster meeting brought together sorors representing chapters throughout the region for a weekend of leadership training, strategic planning, and fellowship centered on Delta’s longstanding commitment to service, scholarship, and social action.

The cluster served as an opportunity for members to strengthen the operational and programmatic work of their chapters while engaging in meaningful dialogue about the sorority’s impact across communities in Florida and the Bahamas. Workshops and sessions focused on leadership development, membership engagement, and advancing the organization’s public service initiatives.

Throughout the weekend, sorors participated in collaborative discussions aimed at strengthening the sorority’s programs in education, economic development, international awareness, and political engagement—core pillars that guide the organization’s mission. Chapter leaders and members shared best practices, explored innovative programming ideas, and reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to empowering communities through collective action.

The gathering also emphasized sisterhood and intergenerational mentorship, connecting longtime members with newer initiates and young professionals who represent the next generation of Delta leadership. Networking sessions and fellowship events provided space for sorors to celebrate the organization’s legacy while continuing to build strong bonds across chapters and geographic borders.

As one of the most impactful gatherings for the region, the Florida and Bahamas Cluster reaffirmed the collective commitment of members to continue the work of the organization’s founders—advancing social justice, uplifting communities, and preparing leaders who will shape the future.
