Join Vice Chairman McGhee at the MLK Jr. Day of Service in District 9
MIAMI-DADE – Vice Chairman Kionne L. McGhee, in partnership with Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS), invites residents to take part in a communitywide event, Volunteers in Parks Signature Service Day, honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event will take place Friday, Jan. 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at J.L. (Joe) and Enid W. Deps Park, 11350 SW 216th St., Miami, FL 33170.
The MLK Jr. Day of Service offers residents a meaningful opportunity to give back by helping beautify and enhance local parks while honoring Dr. King’s enduring commitment to service and community empowerment. As the nation reflects on his legacy, Vice Chairman McGhee encourages residents to unite in a powerful day of action that strengthens both public spaces and community bonds.
