Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce Hosts First Thursday Membership Breakfast Featuring William “Bill” Diggs”
The Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce (MDCC) invites members, business leaders, and the community to its First Thursday Membership Breakfast on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Larcenia Bullard Plaza Conference Room (14508 Lincoln Boulevard, Miami, FL 33176).
This month’s breakfast will feature keynote speaker William “Bill” Diggs, Executive Director of the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT), who will share insights on driving economic growth, supporting small businesses, and fostering equity in Miami-Dade County.
As part of National Black Business Month, MDCC will also spotlight the Orange Blossom Classic as the Featured Business, with Kendra N. Bulluck-Major, Executive Director, in attendance to share updates on the iconic event’s impact on the community and local economy.
“Our First Thursday Breakfast series is more than networking—it’s about building connections, learning from influential leaders, and strengthening the voice of business in Miami-Dade,” said G. Eric Knowles, MDCC President & CEO. “We’re honored to host Bill Diggs and highlight the Orange Blossom Classic during this important month of celebration for Black-owned businesses.”
Bill Diggs, Executive Director of MDEAT, emphasized the importance of collective action:
“Economic advocacy is not just about data and policy—it’s about people,” said Diggs. “When we support entrepreneurs and create equitable opportunities, we transform communities. Events like this breakfast bring the right people into the room to make that change happen.”
Kendra N. Bulluck-Major, Executive Director of the Orange Blossom Classic, highlighted the legacy and impact of the event:
