The Nat Moore Foundation officially teed off its Draft Golf Classic Weekend on Sunday, April 27, 2025, beginning with a lively kick-off party at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Terrace Ballroom.

Presented by the Baptist Health, the weekend of events aims to raise funds for the Nat Moore Endowment Fund, which supports students in South Florida pursuing higher education and vocational training. The evening began with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m., followed by a program and party at 6:30 p.m., where guests gathered in cocktail casual attire to celebrate the foundation’s mission and impact.

The highlight of the weekend continues Monday with the sold-out Celebrity Golf Tournament at Miami Beach Golf Club. Lunch and registration will open at 11:30 a.m., leading into a 1 p.m. shotgun start. An awards ceremony will immediately follow the tournament.

Founded in 2018, the Nat Moore Endowment Fund represents the educational pillar of the Miami Dolphins Foundation. The program provides scholarships and vocational grants to graduating high school seniors in Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties. To date, the fund has awarded over $2 million to more than 150 students.

Speaking to The Culture family at Sunday’s kickoff, Nat Moore emphasized why giving back is personal to him. As a child growing up in South Florida, Moore recalled the pivotal moment when a Miami Dolphins player visited his school — a visit that sparked his belief that he, too, could one day play in the NFL. That moment showed Moore what can be possible.

Proceeds from the weekend’s events will directly benefit the Nat Moore Endowment Fund, continuing Moore’s legacy of empowering youth to reach their full potential.
