The North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency (NMCRA) and Board Member Mary Estimé-Irvin are excited to introduce the West Dixie Small Business Tech Grant, a new initiative aimed at helping small businesses along West Dixie Highway upgrade their technology and enhance operational efficiency.
Through this grant program, eligible businesses located within the NMCRA’s West Dixie boundary can apply for up to $7,500 in financial support to implement a wide range of technology solutions critical to growth and competitiveness in today’s digital economy.
Eligible uses of the grant include:
● Point of Sale (POS) systems
● Website development and optimization
● Software licenses and subscriptions
● Digital marketing tools and strategies
● Cybersecurity and physical security systems
● Cloud services and data storage
● Hardware upgrades (e.g., computers, servers, tablets)
● Professional development and tech-related training
“This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering small businesses with the tools they need to succeed in a technology-driven marketplace,” said Anna-Bo Emmanuel, Esq., Executive Director of the NMCRA. “By supporting upgrades in digital infrastructure and operations, we’re helping local entrepreneurs remain competitive and resilient.” To qualify, applicants must be for-profit businesses located on West Dixie within the CRA boundaries, with proper business licenses and no pending litigation or unpaid taxes with the City of North Miami or the NMCRA. National chains and franchises are not eligible. Interested businesses can learn more and apply by visiting www.NorthMiamiCRA.org or calling (305) 895-9839.
The West Dixie Small Business Tech Grant is one of many ways the NMCRA is working to revitalize and support North Miami’s local economy. Participation in this grant does not disqualify applicants from other NMCRA programs.
