Richmond Heights Celebrates 75 Years with a Commemorative Brunch at Zoo Miami
Join us as we honor the rich history and legacy of Richmond Heights with the 75th Anniversary Brunch, a landmark celebration of a historic community founded in 1949. This milestone event will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, at Zoo Miami’s Florida Room, located at 12400 SW 152nd Street, Miami, FL 33177.
Hosted by The Historic Society and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, this special brunch promises an afternoon filled with inspiration, community, and celebration. As part of the festivities, we will honor individuals whose contributions have shaped the fabric of Richmond Heights and beyond:
- Posthumously: Dr. George Battle
- Former Senator Dwight Bullard
- Randall Floyd aka DJ Nasty
- Posthumously: Dr. Donald Hollis
- Dr. Clarence Jones
- Vice Chairman Kionne L. McGhee
- Former Commissioner Dennis C. Moss
- Avery Washington
