Adrienne Arsht Center Trust (AACT) Board – Expressions of Interest
The Adrienne Arsht Center Trust Board of Directors is seeking a new board member representative of artistic organizations in Miami-Dade County that reflect the African Diaspora. Pursuant to the bylaws of the Arsht Center, the representative must be a member of a non-profit cultural organization located in Miami-Dade County that reflects and represents the African Diaspora in both their governance and programming.
Applicant should be:
- A Miami-Dade County non-profit organization in good financial standing.
- Recognized in Miami-Dade County as a company with professional standards and is regarded as representative of the best of Miami.
Interested organizations should submit the following:
- Organization’s mission as stated in its Articles of Incorporation
- Organizational history
- Organization’s website, if any
- Number of employees/staff
- Most recent 990 and copy of 501(C)3
- Current list of Board of Directors and current leadership of the organization.
- A narrative describing the organization’s programs and activities and its commitment to sustain and advance its cultural art form in Miami-Dade County.
- Three (3) general support documents (e.g., brochures, programs, news articles, letters of recommendation, etc.).
- Name of individual to be organization’s representative to the Adrienne Arsht Center Trust Board of Directors
