Historically Black Colleges & Universities and Divine Nine Celebratory Day
The members of New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Goulds, under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Robin Dixon Floyd, cordially invite you to attend our First Historically Black Colleges & Universities and Divine Nine Celebratory Day, Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
Since the first HBCU, Cheyney State of Pennsylvania in 1837, there are a total of 107 throughout the United States educating more than 225,000 students. While these students are pursuing their college degree, some of them pursue initiation and some are accepted into a Fraternity or Sorority.
We welcome you to proudly wear your HBCU sweatshirt or t-shirt. If you are a Fraternity or Sorority member, please wear your Greek paraphernalia. Yes, awards will be presented toward the close of our Celebratory Day.
We will make the below awards:
1. Awarding a First, Second, and Third Place winner of the top three HBCUs in attendance.
2. Awarding the First, Second, and Third Place winner for the top three chapters with the most members in attendance.
Come out, enjoy yourself as we give thanks to God for His Grace and Mercy, and the good things He has done for us, Sunday, September 15, 2024, 11:00 AM.!!!
