The Easter spirit was alive and vibrant at the KIPP Miami North Campus on March 31, 2024, as families and friends gathered for the 11th Annual Eggstravaganza, a joyous celebration of the holiday organized by Shannon and Rashad Thomas’s T5 Foundation and Miami Slush. The highlight of the event was the eagerly anticipated helicopter egg drop, which had thousands of excited kids lining up for the chance to see colorful eggs cascade from the sky.

Laughter and cheers filled the air as children scrambled to collect the eggs, each one holding the promise of sweet surprises. In addition to the thrilling egg drop, the grounds were buzzing with activity. A wide array of vendors offered everything from crafts to treats, while food trucks served up favorites for hungry appetites.

The basketball courts were alive with friendly games and adding a sports competition element to the festivities. The musical ambiance was set by 99 Jamz, whose DJs kept attendees pumped throughout the day. The highlight of the entertainment lineup was a performance by Miami’s own Ball Greezy on the concert stage, drawing cheers and applause from the audience.

For the youngest attendees, bouncy houses provided hours of fun and laughter, creating memories that will surely last a lifetime. The atmosphere was one of joy, community, and celebration, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to share in the spirit of Easter.
