“As a fourth-generation HBCU graduate, it was imperative to chronicle and document through an authentic lens the fabric of HBCU life. The essence of HBCU Homecomings is the journey back to the yard. There’s no better experience than an HBCU Homecoming. To convene in the name of Black Excellence at your beloved HBCU is just breathtaking,” said North Carolina A&T alumna Jessica Garret Modkins, the docuseries Executive Producer and Director.
“This ultimate experience begins the moment you decide to convene at your alma mater up to the actual moment you step foot back on campus. HBCU Homecomings wholeheartedly explores, details, and celebrates the entire experience. Telling the HBCU homecoming story is essential to preserving our history,” the CEO and Founder of Hip Rock Star Advertising continued.
Schools featured include Bethune Cookman University, Florida A&M University, Grambling State University, Hampton University, Howard University, North Carolina A&T State University, and Jackson State University.
