BEYONCÉ DEBUTS IVY PARK: RODEO

Beyonce takes us back to her Texas roots with her upcoming Ivy Park collection. Beyonce pays homage to Black cowboys. The ‘Single Ladies’ singer gave a sneak peek of the new collection with a video featuring mask cowboys and carousel horses.

“The collection  celebrates the oft-hidden history of Black pioneers within cowboy and cowgirl culture and their continued influence and impact on the American Rodeo,” an official description of the collection reads.

Black Twitter immediately rallied up to share their excitement over the new drop. One user tweeted, “Me wearing the new Ivy Park Rodeo collection.”

According to an announcement from Adidas, the Ivy Park Rodeo collection “celebrates the formidable impact of Black men and women on American Western culture” by honoring the “oft-hidden history of Black pioneers within cowboy and cowgirl culture and their continued influence and impact on the American Rodeo.”

One thing about Beyoncé, she’s always uplifting the culture in every aspect. The American Western Culture apparel has 58 styles to select from, including denim bodysuits, snap pants, denim tracksuits, and French terry hoodies. Rodeo accessories include unisex hats, unisex bags, bucket hats, durags, socks, and bandanas. There are five different styles of shoes to choose from, ranging from $45 to $200.

Beyonce first introduced Ivy Park to the world in 2016. In 2019, the brand teamed up with Adidas, and the joint collection had its first drop in Jan. 2020, followed by the second release in Oct. 2020. The activewear line features tops, bottoms, sneakers, and so much more.

The Ivy Park Rodeo collection is Beyoncé’s fourth collaboration with Adidas, arriving six months after the success of their winter collection, Icy Park. The latest collection is set to debut on Aug. 19.
