TWITTER REACTS TO SOULJA BOY AND BOW WOW VERZUZ
Bow wow and Soulja boy took us back to simpler times over the weekend. After weeks of going back and forth on the internet, two of the most influential millennials came together and put on a miraculous show.

Soulja kicked things off by reminding his followers that Bow Wow fell off before questioning his hit-making ability.
“Bow Wow ain’t had a hit since Marco Polo and I gave him that song,” Soulja wrote in one tweet, referencing Bow Wow’s 2009 single. “Bow wow couldn’t make a hit in 2021 if his life depended on it,” the 30-year-old rapper said in another post.

This battle was unlike any other battle we’ve seen. It turned into a bow wow and friends vs. Soulja Boy when Bow Wow brought out a member of Dem Franchize Boyz, Da Brat, and Jermaine Dupri. Fans also got a glimpse of the millennium tour after Omarion hopped on stage to perform “Let Me Hold You.”

Bow Wow started making hits at a very young age and dropped his first album when he was 13. It only took a Verzuz battle for everyone to remember the impact that Bow Wow had on the culture. So now fans around the world are demanding that Bow Wow get his flowers.

That’s not all. After Bow Wow flexed his connections in the music industry, Soulja Boy brought Romeo on stage to give the two artists their roses. This was the first time in 20 years that Bow Wow and Romeo shared the same stage after falling out earlier in their careers.
