SOUTH DADE FEDERAL VACCINE SITE OPENS AT CULTURAL ARTS CENTER

The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Florida Office of Emergency Management has designated the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center as a federal vaccination site. Now through Tuesday, March 23, 500-800 Pfizer vaccines will be distributed daily to eligible residents on a walk-up basis and will not require pre-registration or appointments.

Eligible residents include:
– Individuals aged 60 and over
– Residents/Staff of Long-term Care Facilities
– Frontline Healthcare Personnel
– School Employees (K though 12th Grade)
– Sworn Law Enforcement Officers age 50 and over
– Persons determined by their physician to be extremely vulnerable to COVID-19 with a sign Physician Vulnerability Form
