On Thursday, March 11th, President Joe Biden signed the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill, which means that the third round of stimulus checks are on their way!

According to CNN, the bill includes “up to $1,400 stimulus payments, a $300 federal boost to weekly jobless benefits, an expansion of the child tax credit of up to $3,600 per child and $350 billion in state and local aid, as well as billions of dollars for K-12 schools to help students return to the classroom, to assist small businesses hard-hit by the pandemic and for vaccine research, development and distribution.”

The financial relief for millions had Black Twitter going crazy! You know Black folks make a joke out of everything. “Moneybagg Joe” became a trending topic on Twitter after Pres. Biden signed the bill and made their way over to Instagram and Facebook. The trend even made national news where MSNBC covered the Memes and photoshopped images with President Biden with a du-rag and several chains on. Others depicted the president sagging his pants, wearing baseball caps and Newport sweatsuits.

There were pictures of Biden with cornrows and GIFs where Biden’s face replaces a rapper. One tweet even changes Moneybagg Yo’s “Said Sum” lyrics. “I thought a twice impeached president who couldn’t get re-elected SAID SUM,” one tweeter wrote.

Moneybagg Yo, who isn’t a political rapper, has his music is rooted in the streets. Although, in January, he performed at a rally for Democratic Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock in Georgia. The Tennessee native also donated $10,000 for hand sanitizer and masks to Shelby County Schools in Memphis last year.
