ACTRESS STACEY DASH APOLOGIZES FOR SUPPORTING DONALD TRUMP

‘Clueless’ star Stacey Dash apologizes for supporting Donald Trump’s antics as she previously defended him from charges of racism.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, she pleaded, “I’ve lived my life being angry, which is what I was on Fox News. I was the angry, conservative, Black woman,” She continued, “That anger is unsustainable, and it will destroy you. I made a lot of mistakes because of that anger.”.

Back in 2012, she announced that she would be supporting Republican Mitt Romney in his political run against former president Barack Obama. She faced a ton of criticism as fans pondered over a black woman wanting to support the views of Romney. But if you’ve followed Dash’s political outbursts over the years as a contributor at Fox News, you wouldn’t be so surprised. After Jesse Williams spoke u about racial injustice, she called him a “plantation slave,” while also making transphobic and anti-feminist comments.  Eventually, she was suspended from her role as a Fox Contributor.

What has changed, you may ask? In her apology, Dash states that it only took Trump supporters destroying the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 for her to realize she was wrong and didn’t want to be put into that box.  “I don’t hate anyone, I don’t know where that comes from,” she continued. “He’s not the president. So, I’m going to give the president that we have right now a chance.”

The actress, who says she was black listed in Hollywood because of her views tried to win back the hearts of the American people but, unfortunately for Dash they aren’t buying her half ass apology and political turnaround. “Not Stacey Dash trying to cupid shuffle her way back into our good graces,” a Twitter user said. “The door is closed my love.”
