‘BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES’ RETURNS TO WETV

As we all know, dealing with family can be tough, and it’s even more challenging when the cameras are rolling, but that’s not stopping the Braxton family. The seventh season of ‘Braxton Family Values’ Returns to WeTV on Thursday, November 5th.

It’s no secret that the Braxton family has had a stirring pot of drama this year. In early July, Tamar was rushed to hospital after what she confirmed was a suicide attempt. When the news first broke, her ex-boyfriend, David, blamed her suicide attempt on her reality show, “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life,” aired on WeTV. Since then, the two have their separate ways after David filed for a domestic violence restraining order.

Toni Braxton had some things to get off her chest about David, “You Weasel…you Ferret…You are beyond contempt. Once again, DO NOT include my children in your SHENANIGANS. Please leave my family ALONE!” she tweeted.

Tamar has always been very outspoken about her relationship with the television network. After her hospitalization, she stated how unhappy she was working in television. Tamar also says the show documents everything but actual family values now and hints that producers are behind the scenes creating drama for ratings. She took to her Instagram to address the new trailer of the family’s show “After waking up to that disgusting trailer…F**K @wetv and whomever else participating for using my pain for their pleasure and ratings!!️✨,” she wrote.

Although the season will show a glimpse of Tamar’s suicide attempt, her sister, Towanda Braxton, says that this season will bring the viewers back to the root of ‘Braxton Family Values.’ This season will show a sisterhood of successful black women, giving us the behind-the-scenes of Towanda’s skincare line, Trina’s boutique restaurant Bar-Chix, and more! Towanda states in a recent interview with ExtraTV, “We just been trying to be our own boss ladies.”
