MIAMI-DADE NCAAP, MIAMI DOLPHINS FOUNDATION AND COX MEDIA GROUP TO HOST SOUL TO THE POLLS 2020

In an effort to further turn out the Black vote for the upcoming election, the Miami-Dade Branch of the NAACP along with the Miami Dolphins Foundation and Cox Media Group will host Soul to The Polls 2020 at two locations.

Historically, Souls to the Polls was spearheaded over a decade ago by churches and civil rights organizations as a way to increase Black voter turnout at the ballot box, the last Sunday before election day.

Ruban Roberts, the president of the Miami-Dade Branch of the NAACP encourages all registered voters to take part in the primary election. “This election year is critical. It will require everyone to exercise their right to vote. As a non-partisan civil rights organization, we can’t tell you who to vote for, but we encourage you to vote. Should voters encounter any problems voting, we ask for those individuals to call 1-866-Our-Vote,” Roberts said.
