USHER’S NEW LOOK: YOUTH LEADERS
Usher’s New Look is offering our UNL Virtual Academy (grades 9-12) and UNL University (undergraduate and ages 17-24) to youth for FREE
We created this program because we know that the education of 1.5 billion students across the globe has been disrupted during this COVID-19 pandemic. Schools suddenly closed, forcing them to learn how to navigate virtual lessons, while maintaining their grades. To top it off, their social lives were put on hold, making it hard for many to stay motivated. It’s been tough for our young people.
To help ensure that our youth don’t fall victim to what’s being called “COVID-Slide”, ourteam developed UNL Virtual Academy – a program that will engage, challenge, and push students to keep working hard to achieve their educational and career goals. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about various careers, explore their gifts and talents, and discover high school and post-secondary educational options.
Expanding to a digital platform allows us to reach more students outside of our key cities(Atlanta and New York City), giving us the ability to serve youth from around the world.
