DOLCE & GABBANA’S ALTA MODA SHOW HIGHLIGHTS
Despite the COVID-19 Delta Variant, fashion shows are back and better than ever! This weekend Venice hosted the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show at the Piazzetta San Marco. According to BAZAAR, there were 450 guests in attendance.
“For us, Venice represents the perfect harmony of opposites that attract: it is romantic and sensual, melancholic and joyful, rational and visionary, luminous and nocturnal, sacred and profane, dark and golden,” Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said in a statement after the show took place, of why they had selected Venice for their latest show. “It is the city of Casanova, of the Carnival, of the historic regatta on the Grand Canal.”
Their star-studded event saw the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Normani, Ciara, Jennifer Lopez, Saweetie, Doja Cat, Diddy, Vanessa Bryant, and more!

In addition, Dolce & Gabbana cast some noteworthy celebrity kids. Diddy was one proud Father as his three daughters Chance, Jessie James, and D’Lila Star Combs, shook the runway. Chance, whose mother is Sarah Chapman, glowed in a shimmering mesh off-the-shoulder piece with a red ribbon belt. Jessie and D’Lila, daughters of model Kim Porter, stood out and walked in their own individual styles despite being twins. Jessie wore a silver pleated Lurex lace and tulle illusion corset dress. D’Lila wore a black pleated taffeta boned dress adorned with a magenta belt and bling.
From the celeb kids to the Sequined dresses and sculptural gold elements were reflecting the city’s architecture, the event was absolutely jaw-dropping. The brand has more to come as it launched into the NFT space. The NFT collection will reportedly go by the name “Collezione Genesi.
