SNOOP DOGG & KEVIN HART TEAM UP FOR TOKYO OLYMPICS HIGHLIGHTS SERIES ON PEACOCK

Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart teamed up with NBC’s streaming service Peacock to recap the 2021 Tokyo Olympics in a new commentary series.

The comedic duo analyzes Olympic highlights and conducts interviews. The production behind the show is phenomenal. Snoop and Hart have developed new ideas for Olympic sports and provided unique commentary for several events.

The entertainers went already had a segment clip go viral on Twitter. They provided commentary about the event, and immediately Snoop Dogg identified the equestrian event.

“The horse Crip walking, you see that?” Snoop Dogg said, causing Hart to burst into laughter. “On the set! That’s gangster! Look at this! This horse is off the chain, I gotta get this motherf-ker in a video.”

The segment expanded into questions about whether or not horses get medals for winning.

“I’ve never seen a horse with a medal. It goes to the person on the horse, which should be changed!” Hart said, later adding, “I didn’t see that jockey do any type of Crip walk just now…you didn’t have your ankles taped, the horse did. I demand for the horse to get the respect that they deserve and the same bragging rights as the jockey. You start to hang a medal on these horses’ neck so when they get around the other horses they can neigh and show the other horses. You don’t think a horse want to brag?”

It’s no secret that the Olympics had major controversy due to many things, including discrimination and COVID-19. However, NBCUniversal remains committed to air their Olympic games.

NBC’s streaming service is keeping things interesting. Alongside Hart and Snoop’s highlights show, Amber Ruffin will give live coverage from Tokyo. In addition, ESPN’s Cari Champion and Kenny Mayne will co-anchor highlights and interviews on the program Tokyo Tonight.
