A VIRTUAL OPEN MIC HOUR FOR H.S. STUDENTS AND SUPPORTIVE STAKEHOLDERS

Artistic expression is one of the most powerful ways for teens and adults to process

difficult life experiences. Quarantined: Time to Adapt is calling all High Schoolers to grab a seat and enjoy their very own Virtual Open Mic Hour! Create, share, and snap your fingers as Spitters/Poets/Orators/Whisperers from 9th – 12th grade speak on all topics related to

Quarantined: Time to Adapt.

This virtual open mic is sponsored by your very own Belinda Gordon-Battle

@BGB-justbeatherapist, Berwick Augustin @Evoke180, and Benita Gordon

@theEDUconcierge. This month we have a guest sponsor, @MathNMore by Mathematician

Christopher Roblez.

“We are collaborating to provide a safe space for our teenagers to meet and share common

concerns through their creative voices. Our Open Mic will set the virtual stage for 9th-12th

graders to Speak truth to Power and Listen to truth to Power,” says the co-sponsors.

Supportive stakeholders are also encouraged to attend.

The first open mic debuted on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 7pm. Virtual open mic is held every last Wednesday of the month. To attend the September virtual Open Mic, register here: https://lnkd.in/et3W3hr
